University of New Hampshire Announces May 2019 Graduates
The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May 2018. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64. Students are only graduated after the Registrar's Office has certified that all degree requirements have been successfully completed. On May 8, more than 300 Wesleyan students received University prizes and awards during a reception. The Mildred Whittlesey McGraw Attainment Prize was presented at the Elmira College Academic Honors and Student Recognition Celebration, held Thursday, March 28, in Stephens Lounge. The Prize was endowed by Harold McGraw, Sr., former Chairman of the Board of Trustees, in honor of his mother, for a junior who has made the greatest contribution in academic achievement, general activities, and citizenship, and who has demonstrated most thoroughly the aims of the College.

'Pluto' Takes the Stage, Eastern Theatre Represents at KCACTF
Eastern's rendition of "Pluto" took center stage at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) earlier this month. "Pluto" was one of only three productions featured at the Region 1 festival, which includes colleges and universities from all over New England and New York, including New York City. The festival occurred from Jan. 29-Feb. 2 at Cape Cod Community College and included an awards portion and theatre workshops.

Revelations Abound in Hawaii for Eastern Students
Twenty psychology students expanded their worldview over winter session during a global field course in Hawaii. Titled "Cross-Cultural Well-Being and Relationships in Hawaii," the course ran from Jan. 2-11. Students were immersed in the local culture and visited some of the island chain's most breathtaking sites.
