The University of Scranton conferred more than 850 bachelor's and associate's degrees at its undergraduate commencement.

Select students have been named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Assumption College has announced that 558 undergraduate students, or recent graduates, have been named to the College's prestigious Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester.

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May 2018. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64. Students are only graduated after the Registrar's Office has certified that all degree requirements have been successfully completed. Participating in the commencement ceremony is the act of honoring and celebrating academic achievement.

Northampton Community College is excited to welcome new and returning students to campus for the Summer 1 2019 semester.

Clarkson University awarded over 750 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees to students from 27 states, 22 countries and 57 New York state counties, this spring. (An additional 338 students received degrees this past winter and summer.)

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

The following students have been named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester. The requirement to make the Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher that semester.

Muhlenberg encourages students in every major to study abroad while earning college credit towards their degree. In fact, 58 percent of Muhlenberg graduates from the Class of 2018 studied abroad. The College supports four discipline-specific study abroad opportunities as well as offering over 100 approved programs in Europe, Asia, Oceania, Latin America and Africa.

On May 8, more than 300 Wesleyan students received University prizes and awards during a reception. Wesleyan's awards, prizes, and scholarships program connects recipients to the legacies of alumni, administrators, faculty, and friends of the university whose lives and work are honored through endowed gifts. Recipients of the academic scholarships, fellowships, and prizes represent the highest ideals of Wesleyan--intellectual curiosity, academic excellence, creative expression, leadership, and service.

Eastern Connecticut State University's History Department inducted 22 new members into its American honors society Phi Alpha Theta. The ceremony was held on April 4 and recognized students with high academic performance within the department.

The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) at Eastern Connecticut State University hosted its annual Service Expo and Awards on April 18. The event recognized the many service projects and students who have made a commitment to volunteerism in the Windham area, Eastern's home community.

Elmira College released its Dean's List for Academic Achievement for the Winter 2019 Term. The Dean's List recognizes full-time undergraduate students who were registered for at least 12 computable credit hours and who earned a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

The Mildred Whittlesey McGraw Attainment Prize was presented at the Elmira College Academic Honors and Student Recognition Celebration, held Thursday, March 28, in Stephens Lounge. The Prize was endowed by Harold McGraw, Sr., former Chairman of the Board of Trustees, in honor of his mother, for a junior who has made the greatest contribution in academic achievement, general activities, and citizenship, and who has demonstrated most thoroughly the aims of the College.

Lasell College students participated in a mock trial as part of the Lasell College Fall Connected Learning Symposium on December 4.

Eastern Connecticut State University student Shawn Dousis '19 of East Lyme was the student recipient of Eastern's annual Ella T. Grasso Distinguished Service Award on March 27.

Twelve history students from Eastern Connecticut State University presented at the 2019 Connecticut State University Making History Conference on March 22. The conference was held at Southern Connecticut State University.

Eastern Connecticut State University theatre major Elizabeth Heaney '19 of Niantic has been accepted to Purdue University for graduate school on a full tuition waiver and assistantship. She will pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting.

Gettysburg College students take pride in their work, and we are likewise proud to announce their recent academic achievements. The women's lacrosse team at Eastern Connecticut State University recently began its spring 2019 season. The team is rebuilding after last year's graduation losses, giving new and returning players opportunities to expand their roles on the team.

The Concert Chorale at Eastern Connecticut State University is amid its spring 2019 season performance. The Concert Chorale is a vocal ensemble comprised of choral and orchestral masterworks.

The Lasell College Fashion Collection (LFC) launched a revised public website and a new online catalogue featuring approximately 600 of its 3,000 artifacts, under the leadership of Professor and Curator Jill Carey and Collections Manager Stephanie Hebert.

Eastern's rendition of "Pluto" took center stage at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) earlier this month. "Pluto" was one of only three productions featured at the Region 1 festival, which includes colleges and universities from all over New England and New York, including New York City. The festival occurred from Jan. 29-Feb. 2 at Cape Cod Community College and included an awards portion and theatre workshops.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Twenty psychology students expanded their worldview over winter session during a global field course in Hawaii. Titled "Cross-Cultural Well-Being and Relationships in Hawaii," the course ran from Jan. 2-11. Students were immersed in the local culture and visited some of the island chain's most breathtaking sites.

The Empire 8 Conference honored 61 Elmira College Soaring Eagles on its semi-annual President's List, which recognizes student-athletes who earned a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher during the fall term.
